Lazy Mirror copies changes made to one or more sources and archives the previous versions of the copied files. If all storage allocated to a destination has been consumed, the oldest archives will be disposed off to make room for new files.
To copy and archive data Lazy Mirror is a simple and easy to use tool. To copy a system takes more skills, depending on size, complexity and the operating system in use. Although this documentation handles the details of backing up a system, this might become less obvious reading for some.

I'm surprised this software hasn't gotten more attention - it is one of the simplest and cleanest programs in its class.
Lazy Mirror works fine on my system and does not break when I mess with my OS (Vista Enterprise x64).
It did take me a while to understand the setup - I have accidentialy turned it off sevaral times by using the 'X' to close it. I'm not sure if this is fixed in the most recent version.
I like it because it keeps a true mirror backup - no encrypted garbage to wade through, no delay in pulling out an older version of a file - it's just there.
Given the low price of drives these days a near-line backup solution is practical and Lazy Mirror does a no-brainer job of keeping such a backup current.
Thanks for the work, Wilbert Hengst
